Yard Waste for Sylvan Shores Property Owners 

The SSPOA provides a yard waste area to land owners, in good standing.
This area is located off of 400th Street West of Onamia Trail inside the fenced in area. 
Access to the Yard Waste Area can be accomplished by signing out a key, completing the acknowledgement form, and providing it to the Clubhouse staff or a Sylvan Shores Board member. 
 
If you drop off items that are not accepted, you will be subject to a fine of $250.00 for misuse of the waste site.
A one-day grace period will be allowed to remove non-compliant items. Please follow the signs to put items in designated areas. The key must be returned within 24 hours unless given permission otherwise. Please keep in mind, if non-compliant items are left while you have the key, you could be held responsible. If you lose the key, you will be subject to a fine of $25.00.

Items Accepted:
  • Grass Clippings
  • Leaves
  • Tree Limbs no more than 6 feet long & 4 inch diameter
  • Shrubs & Brush
Items Not Accepted:
  • Trees or Tree Stumps
  • Treated and/or Painted Lumber
  • Household Garbage
  • (De) Construction Materials
  • Non- Biodegradable Items
  • Compost


Compost may be removed for your use, but cannot be dropped off.
